Ingredients

ground cloves
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1⁄2 teaspoon
grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
Baking Powder
1⁄2 teaspoon
baking soda
1⁄2 cup
vegetable oil
1
large egg
1 cup
sugar
1⁄2 cup
light brown sugar
1 cup
pumpkin puree
4 ounces
cream cheese (microwaved until very soft)
1 tablespoon
maple syrup
1 tablespoon
confectioners sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Make the bread.
3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
4. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, egg, sugar, brown sugar and pumpkin puree.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix to combine.
6. Transfer the batter to a Copper Loaf Pan.
7. Bake for 1 hour.
8. Cool 15 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack.
9. Cool completely.
10. Meanwhile, make the glaze.
11. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
12. Drizzle the glaze over the loaf
